Our Pastor
Shane Kastler serves as Pastor of Heritage Baptist Church. An Oklahoma native, Shane has a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University and a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He is the author of the book Nathan Bedford Forrest's Redemption, published by Pelican Publishing of Gretna, LA. He is also the Co-Host of "Church & State" heard every Thursday morning on KELB 100.5 FM radio in Lake Charles; and he writes a weekly column called "Seeking Higher Ground" for the Linn County (KS) News, in addition to a blog called "The Narrow Road"(www.narrowroadblog.com). He and his wife Erin are the parents of one son and two daughters, whom they homeschool.
